Halberstad Mappings of microtonal scales, 2 and 3 ranked

Erv outlines here the idea of mapping scales out onto a Halberstad like keyboard based on complementary Moments of Symmetries

Hexany as a 12 tone meeting place

Here Wilson worked out the possibility of using a Hexany  as a meeting place between a harmonic and subharmonic series having no tones in common. the Second example here shows the two complementary series this time up the the 13 (or 15) (sub)harmonics still limited to 12 tones.

Some Comments On Akkoc Observations

Since there is some discussion of this material elsewhere, we provide a link to some preliminary studies by Wilson done on some of Akkoc obsevations and research into Turkish Music.

 The later pages show Wilson's investigating the Moments of Symmetry (MOS) scale properties of some of these intervals in regard to using them as generators of scales. We will return to this sometime in the future.

The 8-19-27 Proportional Triad

Besides Wilson first proposing the use of the 19th harmonic in the minor, here is another example of using the 19th in  a 'dimished' chord.
